You have to align your why with your spouse’s why.You should always be striving to improve your process.You can’t tolerate people not doing your system.They will destroy your good people and ruin the whole team. If you allow the wrong people into your life, they will be cancer to your life.That award didn’t earn me any money or time with my family.I spent so much time on that award and in the limo, my wife asked me if I could schedule some time to see our own kids.2002 I had my first award and I didn’t get my next award until 2007.People lose their happiness and constantly try to chase it in new things.Not only are you neglecting your families, but you are als chasing the things you don’t need.When you work so hard to make more money that you never see your family, then you have gone backwards.When you go beyond your goal, you start to decrease happiness. At some point, you have met your goal.Elon Musk didn’t make a profit after 10 years with Tesla.We have to teach ourselves to delay gratification.
